🔴 How to repair Asahi Coffee Maker ☕

Coffee is what we take everyday, without coffee in our day makes us feel sleepy and tired. Coffee is not only in the morning but also we consume it in the afternoon. Sometimes, we take it three times a day. But what if, your coffee maker is broken? Here, a way you can fix your coffee maker by your self. Below I will teach you how to repair your coffee maker. 

Things you need to repair your coffee maker.

1. Philips screwdriver
2. Longnose plier 
3. Flat screwdriver
4. Multi-Tester
Optional:
a. Soldering iron
b. Soldering lead

Here in my example video below I am going to repair Asahi coffee maker.



Steps/procedure.
Step 1.
Open the bottom of the coffee maker by removing all the screws. Then remove the buttom cover.

2. Remove one of the side cover for easy access to the front panel cable wire.

3. Look for the thermal fuse which is located at one of the spaghetti tubing at the buttom of the unit.

4. Use your multitester to check for open circuit or defective thermal fuse. 

Note: very common fault or defect of a heating unit is the thermal fuse.

5. Cut and replace the thermal fuse. Replace it with same value as before.

The value of the thermal fuse in our example is 220volts, 10Amps, 216°c degree celcius.

6. Test the coffee maker ☕ unit. 
 
Reason for this trouble.
1. No water in the tank during operation.
2. Overheating
3. Shorted heater
