How to Protect your USB Drives or SD Cards from Molds or Early Corrosion Due to Long Term Storing.

Hi guys, Today I am going to share with you how to protect your USB drive or SD card from moisture, molds or early corrosion.

Materials:

1. You need a dry and empty resealable plastic pouch, you only need one.
2. Silica Gel from shoes or from gadget box or cartoon. Better if you can acquire two pieces of this material.
3. Dry cloth for cleaning and wiping the USB drive or SD Card.

Direction:

1. Prepare all materials needed.
2. Wipe the USB drive(s) or SD Card(s) first before inserting it in the plastic pouch.
3. Insert the USB Drive(s), SD Card(s) and your Silica Gel inside the Resealable Plastic Pouch.

See illustration below.

This technique will make your SD cards or USB drives dry while inside your storage area. Also, it protects the components inside the USB drives from corrosion due to moisture.
